uncertain about this one

the main part, with the nice beat and spanish sounding guitar was pretty sweet, and the beginning was sorta cool, but there were alot of other elements that were just plain annoying. too many random irritating wah noises. your songs seem too unfocused. you could've made a very nice song out of that guitar and some breakbeats, as well as one out of the r&b sampling you had going at the beginning. but mixing the two together, and adding even more elements, muddied your song to a point of distaste. very original and interesting, though.

randomdude responds:

thanx. I was goin fer a kinda old skool D&B flava on this one.

hmm.

the main elements to this don't mesh together very well at all. headache music.

bass666 responds:

your oppinen i think its sounds good check my other stuff out

awesome

this is such a sweet song. it does remind me of one of the final fantasies, though. with the main orchestra strings, not the beat. ff2, i believe. when locke is sneaking around somewhere?

very well done.

TBF responds:

Thanks for the positive feedback, when I put this one together I wanted to do something different, but still try to keep it easy to listen to.

hmm

your intro was more interesting than your track, which started off VERY slowly and annoyed me with its extreme panning. it then diverged into something dark and mildly interesting, but still not extremely captivating. too much droning.

NewEvolution responds:

Wow. Constructive criticism. Not often I get that on here...it's usually a lot of "I liked it" or "OMG YOU SUXXOR!" In any case, I tend to go overboard with the panning...don't ask me why, it just seems to fit. The droning was something I worked a bit to lessen, but every time I tried to equalize or filter it to get it to be less droning, it killed the mood of the entire track, and thus the song. I am glad however that the darkness came across. Once I get some free <_< >_> audio editing software on this computer I plan on doing several remixes of my current songs. Hopefully I can pique your interest a bit more with them.

put more time into it.

one hour is not enough time for a good song. diversify your beats.

Mystikal84 responds:

I agree there. I know my stuff is pretty basic thus far but I am constantly trying new things, testing them, and trying to get a response whether it's bad or good. Every new song I make is a learning experience for me and I will continue to learn and get better. Thanks for your review, these help me put more effort in to make better songs.

straight eights

very nice rapid beat, i like the voices at the beginning. this is much better than alot of your other stuff.

could've done without the 'sry the song isn't over yet,' but whatever.

Zevobrox responds:

Inept Your words are always helpful thanks, i'll take your word about voices in the middle of the song stuff. Thanks again i got more come, primarily, " I Hate Bass" Look for thatone soon I am giving it a overhaul.

nice ballads

very melodic. i like it. sorta between genres, and i really liked the use of more classical instruments. nice work.

RyeGuyHead responds:

is that a yes or no for part two?

i like this one, too.

you're getting better fast, keep it up. i like the variety of loops you went through on this track. the drums/beats were a little weak, but with this type of music, the beats don't matter much as long as they're hitting. very nice.

Darkvampiire responds:

Well thank u a lot its nice to see when ppl like ur work! I hope I can keep the good work!
Thanks

scary

this made me shudder. seriously. that deep filtered voice gave me the creeps.

Ratjuice responds:

thanx man

hmm

i clicked play and then went off and started doing something else on the computer, and even though your track didnt seem too special at first, it kinda ingrained itself in my subconscious or something, cause im starting to like it after like the fifth listen. haha, i guess it grows on you. nice work.

crud responds:

I find i'm the same way with any kind of new music, it has to grow on you, so you can listen to it after a while and note its intricacies ( is that a word??) and details that add to the overall flavor. I hope you got a chance to get that with my song. I'm glad it grew on you, like a smile grows on someone on luaghing gas.

i mostly just browse, review, submit in the audio portal on this site. currently using FL studio 4.1.0 producer edition, but i've messed with quite a few others.
